'Grey's' star meets with gay-rights groups - CNN.com

I find this absurd. It is pathetic political theater. For the record, let me say that Isaiah has behaved somewhat foolishly in casting aspersions on his cast mate because of his homosexuality and then using slur "faggot" after the incident has meandered its way into the media and become a bonfire of an issue for the gay political establishment. So he to a large extent has brought this humiliation upon himself, considering that he works in the entertainment industry where gays are prevalent and one should be mindful of the fact.

That said, it is crystal clear that the gay community in its quest to be regarded as a minority group worthy of the same recognition and protection we have historically reserved for ethnic/racial groups, has learned how to practice homosexual extortion and political opportunism every bit as effectively as Jesse Jackson practices racial extortion and opportunism. This entire episode is as ridiculous as the Kramer media melt down. To save his job, Washington meets with gay activist leaders who essentially extort him. Either he becomes a mouthpiece for the gay movement or lose his job on the show. And these activists, just like Jesse and Sharpton in the Kramer episode, are "empowered" to grant him absolution for all gay people. It is a crazy state of affairs.
