I was totally impressed by the speed of Bush's reaction to the shoe thrower. That first shoe came superfast and furious. Bush dodged that baby with a swift, lightning fast move. Not too shabby at all for a President after 8 years in a job that has surely shaved 15-20 years off his life expectancy.
And he comes up smiling and anticipating the second one. Then waves off his SS detail. I think that is the most fun George has had in eight years.

ReplyDeleteI did wonder though where were the SS though. Shoe number one, okay, I'll give them that one, but they had time on shoe number two. I expected to see two things 1. An SS guy coming in low from off screen to take the thrower down and 2. a second SS guy diving in front of Bush to take the hit. Didn't see that. Not good.
