I would agree with that. My argument for the war was always that freedom was a human right, not an American one. "If Saddam was running the US the way he ran Iraq, wouldn't you want someone to come help you?"
ReplyDeleteThats a fair point, but freedom for the Iraqi's had nothing to do with our reasons for going to war. Thats just a nice side benefit for them of us protecting our own national interests and they paid a pretty steep price for that benefit to boot.
