How To Dialogue With White People About Race: An Opinion
Race is about the most incendiary topic of discussion in this country and I have come to the conclusion over time that you can't have a useful dialogue about it with a white person if you regard their every opposing viewpoint or opinion as motivated by malice and/or decide to take offense where offense was not offered from people who are otherwise of goodwill. Simple disagreement with someones point of view on a racial topic should not be defacto evidence of racial animus or prejudice.
