Well, looks like the One had his bracket straight. I didn't have a bracket at all, but having lived in Michigan for eight years, I was rooting for MSU. Michigan sure could have used something to raise their spirits considering they have the highest unemployment rate in the nation, 22% in Detroit itself.
Its perhaps small consolation for MSU, but they were clearly beat by a superior team tonight. Thy fought valiantly, but UNC was too big, too fast and too deadly accurate in their offense. From the beginning of the game to the end, MSU was simply overmatched. No shame in getting beat.
Congrats to UNC and to MSU for an outstanding season.
